This retreat is your chance to step away from your routine and the pressures of home and spend time with Jesus and your sisters in Christ.   As always, we will be doing a lot of eating and singing and laughing and playing and talking and meeting new friends, and worshipping and praying and studying God’s Word.

2015 Women's Retreat

It's almost time to start signing up for our Women's Retreat.  Whether you are the mother of toddlers, helping your elementary children with homework, trying to cope with teenagers, an empty nester or well into retirement, you will thoroughly enjoy the relaxation, inspiration, fellowship, delicious food (you don't have to prepare), and spiritual encouragement at our retreat.

The Women's Retreat will be held at Lassen Pines Christian Conference Center in Viola, California (just east of Shingletown on Highway 44) on October 16th through 18th.  Registration is from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday night.  Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.  The retreat ends with brunch at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

For over 43 years, this retreat, originally sponsored by North Valley Baptist Church, has blessed women from all over Northern California.

The cost for this year's retreat is as follows:

Full Retreat  --  $110 (if deposit received by 10/6)

$125 (if deposit received after 10/6)

Saturday Only  --  $40

Meet Our Speaker...



 

     Donna Warner was a teaching leader with Bible Study Fellowship for 16 years.  As Donna studied the Word and taught it to the women, she developed a humorous yet practical way of applying God’s Word in the lives of the women.  Her simple humor and honesty are a refreshing blend through which God touches the lives of many women.

     Donna and husband Paul praise God for 50 years of marriage.  They have two sons, two daughter-in-laws and five grandchildren.  Donna enjoys traveling, being with friends, drinking coffee, and being a Grandma (her favorite “job”).

     With a passion borne from an intense belief in the power of friendship, Donna will share about friendships in Scripture and what we can learn from them.
